Okay, time for part 2! If you haven’t checked out part 1, you can read that here. To summarize some main points, I gave myself a bit of rules to follow, so this list wasn’t oversaturated with the same artist(s). Two song maximum from the same off the same album. No limit on how many times an artist or artists can appear, as long as they’re different projects.
For example, TWICE released two different albums this year, With YOU-th and STRATEGY. So if I wanted to include all of TWICE’s releases this year on this list, I could have a maximum of four TWICE songs, two from With YOU-th and two from STRATEGY. Baekhyun only released Hello, World. So I can only pick two songs max for that album. That really pained me, as you will read later on in this article, lol.
The last rule is that these songs had to have been released in 2024. My list of fave songs Kpop songs that was a mix of years was covered in my Spotify 2024 Wrapped article. Check that out afterward if you’re looking for more song recs. Now with all that said, let’s get back to our list!
25.) On Your Lip – Orbit
Oh man, I played tf out of this song this year. It’s sooo good. I wished the rest of the album hit like this song did for me. But I’ll be keeping an eye out on them in 2025. ✨ Manifesting more bops like this ✨
24.) Gameboy – Rosé
My second favorite song from rosie. Ugh, I wish I loved this album more. I’m grateful she gave me some midtempo pop tracks on here. “Gameboy” will definitely be on repeat into 2025.
23.) Unknown – NCT DREAM
Deciding my two songs from DREAM()SCAPE was the most stressful like 25 minutes I’ve felt in a while, lol. The lyrics and disappointment I felt knowing they were going to perform it at my concert back in September was the ultimate reason I chose it over “BOX”.
I fw “BOX” heavily. But it came down to which songs really made the most impact on me. I’ve already talked about my 180 on “Smoothie”. But it was really when it clicked that I was back. That we were back. I would place this song higher up, except there were a few more songs I listened to more this year.
22.) Whiplash – aespa
And speaking of 180s, I’m really rockin with aespa. I’m so happy about it too because I really hated not being able to be a fan during like “Black Mamba” and early aespa. I was waiting for this moment, and it finally happened! So I’m hoping this means in 2025 they’ll release more music like this that I like. Me gaining a gg, even casual, in 2024, is a huge win.
21.) Shadow – Ten
I talked a lot about my renewed love of Taemin’s music, but I haven’t really got a chance to talk about how I’ve felt similarly about Ten and his music. It hasn’t been bad, just not my taste, but it feels like we’re slowly coming back with “Shadow”.
Need more like this. Moreover, need that WayV tour in 2025, come SM, stop playin with us!!!
20.) When I’m With You – NCT DREAM
Okay, okay, I used up all my Dreamies slots. Y’all aren’t seeing them again on this list, lmao. Like with DREAM()SCAPE , I decided to do one b-side, one title track. This was easier for me to do with DREAMSCAPE because I loved WIWY from my first listen.
The b-sides were a little bit more difficult to decide on. I’ve been listening to “Night Poem” a lot over the last like two weeks, so I chose it for the list. This is another music video I really enjoyed this year. Maybe in 2025 I’ll put together a favorite music videos list too. Giving future Ashliegh more work to do, lol.
19.) Deja Vu (Anemoia Remix) – TXT
I’ve talked so much about Yeonjun, it feels like we should have seen TXT already on this list. But if you saw my Spotify Wrapped, you know they were my artist of the year, with the Dreamies in second place. So I spent A LOT of my year with Tubatu. It was also incredibly difficult choosing placements for them. I believe I can give them more justice in the albums of the year article.
I’ve talked about “Deja Vu” a lot this year. This version is my favorite, but I turn up to the original. I loveee the way HueningKai sings his verse leading up to the “anemoia” part. Like with “GGUM” this song, this album was everywhere for me. I have incredibly fond memories of this era. Highly recommend checking out if you haven’t heard this project yet. I’m jealous you get to hear it for the first time.
18.) Brought The Heat Back – ENHYPEN
Guys… I think it’s safe to say Enha is my third favorite boy group right now. The list goes SEVENTEEN, TXT, ENHA, SKZ, andddd ATZ (not for dramatic effect, I really had to think about it). Although they don’t make an appearance on this list or the album of the year (spoiler alert 😅).
I bring that up because Enha, ATZ, and SKZ were all groups I discovered/fell in love with during the panorama. But to my surprise, because they’re the youngest, Enha has been the most consistent and easiest to keep up with. I guess it doesn’t hurt either they’re also trapped with my boys SVT & TXT. But I’ve grown to love ENHYPEN even more in 2024, and I really do think in 25′ they’ll be my top group.
They haven’t been yet, but pretty much all my fave boy groups I mentioned above have had that title at least once in the past 4 years. It’s going to be their year, I can feel it. Big, positive things for Enha in 2025. I’m claiming it for them 😤. Oh yeah, and be prepared for me to call every song of theirs on this list God tier, because it is, including BTHB.
17.) Overdrive – NND
I keep talking about this song, and I’m not going to stop. It slaps. If you like Korean bands, you’ll love this tune. This version is slightly different from the final version on Spotify and the one uploaded on Warner Music Korea’s YouTube channel. But it’s not that different. More polished in production. Pleaaase give it a listen. It’s a banger.
16.) Candle Light – The Boyz
Hell yeah, I love when TBZ get their shit together, lol. I’ve already dragged them in the Fall faves article, so I won’t do it again until I eventually write the fave TBZ songs article. I’ve been delaying that one too. That’s the new SF9 faves.
I love “Candle Light”. It’s only been out about three weeks as of writing, but I’ve been listening to it nonstop. I will not be surprised if this is in my Spotify Wrapped next year, lol.
15.) Impossible – RIIZE
Maaaannnn I love tf out of “Impossible”. RIP to RIIZE idk if the group is making it to this time in 2025. I feel a big crash out coming from the remaining members. I don’t see how the group will be able to continue internationally 😬.
If it wasn’t for all the drama, at the pace I was listening to this song, it would have totally been at the top of my Wrapped. And I love the direction they are moving to sound wise. So I hope SM can get it together and give the people what we want.

14.) Pineapple Slice – Baekhyun
Oh man oh man oh maaaan. I knew I was going to love what Baekhyun would release next. But I wasn’t expecting “Pineapple Slice” and Hello, World to slap so hard.
13.) Rush – TWICE
As much as I love “I GOT YOU”, probably my second favorite TWICE song released this year. “Rush” still takes it. My favorite TWICE song released in 2024 and another addition to my favorite TWICE songs ever. At some point, I’ll have to update my fave TWICE songs article, or at least make a part two.
I really like the Asian instrumental strings going on in “Rush” it’s like a mashup of Jpop and hyperpop sound wise.
12.) Truth Be Told – Baekhyun
Damn, this was a hard pick. It was between this and “Cold Heart” and “Truth Be Told” barely squeaked by with the win. I talked about how I really like “Ice Queen” and how “Cold Heart” feels like a part two to it.
I love the instrumentals on “Truth Be Told”. It reminds me of something Timbaland would make back in the 90s, early 2000s. I’m fairly confident Baekhyun will be in my top 3 albums of the year. But idk about the placement. I’m still deciding 😖.
11.) Count It – Nayeon
I loved “Count It” on my first listen to it, and I always will. There’s something so chill and soothing about Nayeon’s voice on this track. Adore it.
10.) My Girl – A.C.E
I listened to both the English (flawless btw) and Korean versions of this song so much early 2024. I’m still obsessed with it, although I’ve cooled down on it a bit. A bit. “Facetime” was originally going to be on this list, but I decided to cut it. It slaps, but It was likely going to be in the 50s or 40s when I looked at my list closer.
Another music video I loved this year. So goofy. I missed A.C.E. I really hope I love their releases in 2025 like I love “My Girl” and “Facetime”.
9.) SAUCY – SISTAR19
Another track I listened to so much early in the year. I remember listening to it numerous times on my trip back west to AZ and Cali around my birthday.
I’ve talked about this one a lot on here, too, but I love it. I miss SISTAR. But I’m happy they’re still getting together on projects, even if it’s a quick subunit.
8.) Superconductor – SF9
Come on, is this one a surprise either? I’ve talked about “Superconductor” and this album so much on here this year.
I’m telling you, the people need a Dawon solo!!! They just don’t realize it yet.
Okay, now we’re in dangerous territory. These are all songs that easily could be swapped with the top three songs. 8-1 really are some of my most listened to, most ear wormed, most lived rent-free songs in my brain throughout various parts of the year.
Keep this tweet in mind as we reach closer to number one.
7.) 25 – oceanfromtheblue
Ahhhh my favorite oceanfromtheblue song. I’m so obsessed with this one. I had this song stuck in my head for weeks after my first couple of listens. It still feels fresh. I get just as hyped now as I did on listen one.
6.) drinks or coffee – Rosé
“drinks or coffee” is hands down my favorite Rosé song she’s released. I love the flow, her vocals, it sounds like she had fun recording this track. I’m praying for more like this in the future.
5.) Your Eyes Only – ENHYPEN
LET’S SUGAR TALK 📢📢📢📢 Along with that tweet I screenshot, liking “Your Eyes Only” isn’t enough. I need to be able to inject it straight into my bloodstream. They put straight crack in this song, I fear. Why is it so good???!!! It should be illegal.
One of my favorite Enha songs ever. Hands down.
4.) Viola – Yves
Yves put crack in this one for sure. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this song or video since my first listen to it.
It’s so addicting and fun. I love the minimalism and scenes where it’s just Yves and the backup dancers in a white void. Again, we are LOONA down in this house. No if ands or buts about it.
3.) TTYL – Loossemble
Choosing to put “TTYL” and “Viola” was easy. I knew they’d be in my top five pretty early on in putting this list together. I love both songs for similar reasons. They’re basically the same song in the best ways.
I sincerely hope we get more Loossemble in 2025. I just finally got the spelling of their name down, dammit 😪.
2.) Easy – Jaehyun
Do I even have to explain this one? Of course, Jae is in the top 3. I was tempted to put “Smoke” on here as well. Just think of it as an honorary fit somewhere on this list. But that would open the floodgates, so I had to pick one.
I’ve said this so many times, and I’ll say it again, Jaehyun fooking gets us. He gets me, and he knows what Valentines want. I might have to get multiple copies of this album. I just love it so much. The more I listen to it, the more I get excited about what he’ll release when he’s back from enlistment.
Okay, last one!
1.) No Doubt – ENHYPEN
Idk man. I thought I was going to have an easy list for my fave songs and albums this year. Then ENHYPEN drops THE song of the year. I think if this had released in February or like May, this would have been my most listened to song of 2024. No doubt.
I cannot listen to this song just once. I gotta hear it at least twice. And it’s all over my TL. I go to TikTok, it’s on every other video I watch. I go back to Twitter and the gorls are posting memes. I go back to TikTok and Engenes are doing the Heesung walk at Times Square:
What a time to be alive. There’s a lot of bad going on, but there’s a lot of good going on as well. I just keep thinking how it’s getting to a boiling point with ENHYPEN, and I think they’re on the cusp of really blowing up in 2025. And I’m so excited to be a part of the ride.
And that’s our list! 2024 had some AMAZING releases. And I can’t wait to get into the albums next. I have some I gotta relisten to, but I think y’all have a good idea of what’s going to be on the list. I just realized I completely forgot to add RESCENE’s “Pinball“. It’s so so so goood. Another song I listened to constantly in 2024.
