There’s something so magical about an ENHYPEN repackaged album. I already spoke about how much I love ROMANCE : UNTOLD, and daydream just adds to the perfection. Well, not so much “Daydream”. But one of my SOTY nominees, “No Doubt” hard carries. So let’s jump into it.
The full song can be heard here. When I saw Jason Derulo’s name in the writing credits for “Daydream”, I had mild expectations. I mean, have you heard what that guy has released the last like 5-6 years? Nothing noteworthy.
“Daydream” sounds just like a 2015+ Jason Derulo song. Not exactly sure why HYBE/BE:LIFT wanted that. Not sure why they thought that was a good idea. They could have just given us another “Future Perfect” but oh well. “Daydream” is OK. There was potential here for something. But nothing I’m going back for.
SOTY potential right here 🎉🎉🎉🎉. I have listened to this song three times already today. Easily in my top 5 fave Enha title tracks. The current order looks like this:

Which is crazy because these are all incredibly good. I can’t think of too many groups where I listen to regularly all their title tracks and would rank the lowest still in A tier. That’s absolutely wild. I love Enha’s discography so much.
Anyway, “No Doubt” is such an earworm. Fantastically addicting and fun. I can’t get enough of it. It expands on “XO”. Upbeat and bouncing around in your head for hours. The music videos keep getting better. I love the members being office workers and everything taking place in the office. Same reason why I loved NCT 127’s Regular dream and Irregular dream. I can’t stop thinking about this tweet:

So yeah, today’s Quick Thoughts are actually quick. I just had to hop on here and spread the word. Enha dropped another banger. If you haven’t yet checked it out, I hope this encouraged you to change your ways. The boys look amazing. Blonde Jungwon isn’t something I thought I needed in my life. It suits him so well. I love it for the Jungwon girlies. Congrats on your man.
