Intro
I can’t help but to think about oceanfromtheblue’s “25” when I see 2025. I have a lot of excitement for the year personally. Because I had some career changes, and now I work from home, I’ll be able to work more on the blog in 2025. I was neglecting it a bit early 2024 and that killed me. I noticed the Fall Mini Best Comebacks & Debuts article did really well, so I will try to incorporate more mini versions of that next year for sure.
Goal wise, I want to keep with my consistency of posting. I still intend to post every other day, three times a week. With at least one new article a week minimum. I think that will be easy to keep up with as there will be a new series starting next year, the 10 anniversary articles.
I’ve teased this a bit, but basically 2025 will be my 10th year as a Kpop fan. Technically, October 2024, was my 10th year since I started getting into Kpop ‘seriously’. As serious as one can be into a music genre, lol. But 2015 was my first full year in Kpop and I have so much nostalgia for the time. So throughout the year, I’ll have special articles covering some of my favorite releases in 2015. Some will be groups I’ve been meaning to cover on here but haven’t like 9Muses for example. Some months will have more articles than others based on releases.
I also intend to go through SEVENTEEN’s discography like I did for EXO because one, it’s overdue. Two, they’re my favorite boy group, so there should be more articles covering them on here, and three, most importantly, it’ll be their 10-year anniversary since their debut. I’m already feeling tears form in my eyes, omg. But yes, so much SVT content next year for sure. I’m curious to what Pledis/HYBE has planned.
The second group I want to do a big deep dive on is ENHYPEN. I’ve talked about how I want 2025 to be Enha’s year. I’ve been meaning to write album-specific articles about them for a while now, too. So next year just feels like the perfect time to.
I also intend to create more videos in 2025. My Kpop shelf is starting to get scary, so I think in January I’ll film the organizing my kpop shelf video.
I want to do some collaborations in 2025. I didn’t have any this year outside of random PR emails. I’d really love to interview some producers, sound engineers, stylists, and other people who work in music and help keep Kpop a float.
Lastly, I just want to keep writing and releasing the best articles I can in 2025. I think my articles have improved greatly this year, so I really want to keep that momentum going. So let’s get into what I wished for last year that I wanted to see in 2024.
What I Wished For In 2024
Wonho 1st Music Show Win, Full-Length Album and US/World Tour
But if the September timeline for his discharge is correct, we could get a November/December or maybe even December 2024 rolling into January 2025 tour from him. Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.
I was on to something here last year, lol. Well, this kinda happened. Wonho was a part of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour. He also held a meet and greet concert in a few select cities as well.
I’m mad jealous because neither of these events came to Atlanta, but he did say he wants to do a full tour next year. So I’m praying Atlanta is on the list for that.
Chungha Tour and Bare&Rare Pt 2
Not too far off with this one either. Chungha signed to Jay Park’s new label, MORE VISION, and she’s done so much this year. Waterbomb, released new music, radio dj. Our girl was BUSY. However, no world tour.
Yugyeom US Tour
Ooof not even close with this one, lol. He toured a lot in Asia and Europe, but none in the US. And Idk if we’re getting him before he enlists 🥲.
TXT Tour
Yes, but I was out of town, and we literally went opposite directions from each other, so the only stop I could have possibly seen them on was their DC date because it would have been over the weekend, and it worked with my job schedule at the time. But I was too tired and already spent a ton of money during my b.day trip. RIP.
Stray Kids Tour
I’m still surprised this didn’t happen, but I got my ticket this year to see them next year.
More Multi Group Collabs Like “NOBODY”
Ehhhhh this didn’t really happen. But I still want this. This is referring to this:
More Variety Shows/Specials with Groups/Soloist Interacting with Each Other
This kinda happened too. However, it wasn’t like a TV series like It’s Dangerous Beyond The Blankets. More of Amazing Saturday like stuff, which is also good.
Shipping prices from Korea to go down (Weverse)
Nah, I just had to eat the $25 or whatever shipping to get my Ppulbatu plushies, lmao.
More Twice Solos and Subunits
Yes!!! Tzuyu solo, even though I wasn’t crazy about it. More Nayeon music, and MISAMO.

And last but not least, yes, this did happen. Seonghwa ended up as an Isabel Marant ambassador, Wooyoung for Courreges and San for D&G.

2025 Wishlist
EXO World Tour
I’ve seen some talk about the EXO members talking about a full group comeback. God, I hope so. I thought I saw somewhere Sehun should be back in September. So and end of the year tour could happen. Might spill over into 2026.
Baekhyun Full-Length Album
Very straightforward. At the very least, I see us getting another mini album from him next year.
Chungha World Tour
I still really want this.
TXT & ENHA In The SOOP
I’ve talked about this before, but I still want this to happen. I want both groups to have time in the soop to relax and do a bunch of goofy stuff, like BTS and SVT got into.

Another straightforward thing. I need my girl groups. We basically lost Rocket Punch yesterday. I’m tired of losing ggs!!! Also, damn with Golden Child, so much potential there.

Like the Chungha one, I’m still holding out hope for this. All the good things for Wonho in 2025.
ENHYPEN Daesang, Bonsang, & Other Accolades For Their Talent
I’m tired of them being slept on. I need them sweeping the end of year award shows along with music shows in 2025 🔫.
ENHYPEN Break Like TXT’s Break
So HYBE/Big Hit finally heard our demands to give the boys a break and so TXT (Soobin is currently on break. Has been for about a month now, his first since debut, which is crazy) will take time off in January. We’re all super happy for them, annoying it has taken this long, but happy it’s finally happening.
My first thought when I saw the notification from Big Hit/HYBE I thought, “good, ENHYPEN next”. I know I said I want 2025 to be their year, but I also want them to get rest. Like TXT they’ve been nonstop and various members have had injuries, mental exhaustion, dealing with stalkers, just so much. I’m so proud of everything they’ve accomplished, and the music slaps, but I really want them to take some time off. We can wait for them. There’s plenty of content to catch up on meanwhile.
KOLO, Huening Kai Solo
I talked about this a few articles ago, but tldr, Huening Kai said he hopes to have a rock solo. Twitter MOAs ran with this as Kai solo in 2025, and then it was being reported on like it was confirmed by Big Hit/HYBE, lmao.
I really want this solo. “GGUM” was so good. This gives me an idea…
TXT Album with member solos and subunits
Kinda like what they have been doing lately, like with minisode 3: TOMORROW. But I want a special album, 7-10 songs like this. And music videos to go with it. Not for all the songs, but we could get like 5 of them at least.
Jihyo second album, Chaeyoung rock solo, Jeongyeon solo, & Dahyun solo
I think there’s a good chance of us getting new Jihyo music next year. I think we’ll get another member or two solo albums as well. Maybe a new subunit. I’d love that too. But I’d love to see the remaining members either get solos or a subunit album.
Haechan R&B solo
We got Jaehyun and Doyoung. Give the Full Sun Solo SM!!!!
Hyunjin (SKZ) Solo
Idk man I think we’re nearing peak Hyunjin hysteria. I want Hyunjin to get a solo. Mini album, music show promotions, etc.
2NE1 World Tour & New Album
Okay, last one. I’ve had this one on the list before, but I have to have it on my wishlist again because they’re back! Manifesting them in Atlanta in 2025 🤗.
